Hello! I’ve got another Stay Crafty with a Blog Named Hero Challenge card to share today. This is the first time I’ve made and infinity shaker and I love how it turned out! This months theme is By the Sea. You need to create an ocean themed project or use a water technique on your project. Visit the challenge post on the Hero Arts blog to enter your own project!

1. On a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of white cardstock, blend on Pool Party and Blue Raspberry Reactive inks, leaving about an inch blank. Add Root Beer Reactive Ink to the blank space. Sprinkle with water and set aside to dry.

2. Stamp the images from Jawsome Sharks stamp set with Intense Black Ink. Color with Copic markers listed below and die cut with coordinating dies.

3. Cut the ink blended piece down to 4” x 5 1/4” and stamp some of the images from Mermaid Cove stamp set throughout panel with Intense Black Ink.

I didn’t have the panel in the corner of my Misti and wasn’t able to restamp when I got a bad impression. I decided to live with it.

4. Add images to inked panel with Precision Glue XL. Save one shark for the front of shaker. Cut off any overhang.

5. Add strong double sided adhesive all along each side of the back of the panel. Add a piece of plastic packaging cut to 4 1/2” x 5 3/4”. Remove adhesive backer from three sides and fold plastic into adhesive.

6. Before filling the shaker, stamp the sentiment with White StaZon Ink. Adhere the shark image with liquid glue.

7. Fill shaker with Seashore Sequins and close top.

8. Use double sided adhesive to adhere the shaker to a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of Paradise cardstock. Add to an A2 card base.

My card may have worked better if the sequins were flat or if I’d given it a bit more room. Overall, though, I love it! Be sure to enter your own project in the challenge post by July 3 at 5pm PT.

Thanks for visiting!
