Hello! This month’s Stay a crafty With A a blog Named Hero is Another Year Older so I made a sunflower birthday card that I gave to my mother-in-law. I looked through my Hero Arts supplies, deciding what to use and ended up picking the Sunflower Field Heroscape that is a part of Support Ukraine collection where 100% of the net profits go to the Ukrainian Red Cross.
1. On a larger than needed piece of white cardstock, stamp the Sunflower Field Heroscape. I used Green Hills, Pine, Dandelion, Pumpkin and Cup o’ Joe Core Inks.
2. Die cut the section you like the best using the third largest Rectangle Infinity Die. I don’t have the coordinating dies for the stamp set but that’s also an option.
3. Ink blend the background with Summer Sky Core Ink. I went darker on the sides and top. None of the ink even touches the field. Stamp the birds in Intens-ified Black Ink.
4. Die cut the sentiment from Celebrate WordsFancy Dies out of white cardstock four times. On one of those, blend on a heavier amount of Summer Sky Core Ink. I tried to go darker at the bottom getting lighter towards the top.
5. Add the panel to an A2 card base with foam tape. Add red hearts with Precision Glue XL.
