Hello! Today I’m sharing a super cute card I made using the Spellbinders July Embossing Folder of the Month as well as one image from the July Large Die of the Month. I had so much fun with this rainbow card!
1. Cut a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock to 6 1/4” x 3 1/4” for a mini slimline card. Place the cardstock in the Spellbinders July Embossing Folder of the Month and run it through the Platinum 6 Die cutting machine. I use the new Universal Plate System for a very good impression.
2. Die cut the ice cream cone from the July Large Die of the Month six times from Sand cardstock.
3. Die cut the ice cream from the July Large Die of the Month out of the following colors: Cranberry, Papaya, Canary, Kiwi, Peacock, Lavender cardstocks.
4. Assemble the ice cream and cone using Bearly Arts Precision Glue and attach to the embossed panel with thin foam squares.
5. Die cut the drip die from Artful Brush out of each color from step 4 and adhere flat to panel.
6. Die cut the sentiment from Expressions of Love Sentiments (appears discontinued, sorry!) three times out of Pitch Black cardstock. Adhere together with liquid glue and attach to the cones, placing glue where they overlap.
7. Adhere the panel to a mini slimline card base and add coordinating sequins throughout the card.
8. Apply Glossy Accents to the ice cream and the drips. Once dry, add highlights with a white gel pen.
If you want to get these or any July clubs, you’ll need to sign up by July 28 in order to receive these in your first order.
