Hello! I’m here today with one more Another Year Older card for the Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero July Challenge. This one is an all die cut card using several new cardstock and Core ink colors.
1. Die cut the the leaves from the Tropical Florals Fancy Dies out of Meadow, Shamrock and Pine.
2. Die cut the flowers from die set out of Papaya, Canary, Peony and Dove White.
3. Die cut the flamingo from Lawn Ornaments Fancy Dies out of Ultra Pink, the legs from Papaya and the beak from Peony. Add black Copic marker about halfway up the beak and adhere beak to flamingo.
4. Add shading to the die cuts to the leaves with Pine Core Ink, the flamingo with Raspberry Jam Core Ink. Add Ultra Pink Core ink to the Peony flowers, Butter Bar to the Canary flower, Pumpkin to the Papaya flower and Lemon Yellow to the white flowers.
5. To create the background cut a piece of white cardstock to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. Add Arctic Core Ink to the entire panel with a large blending brush. Next apply Paradise Core Ink to just the edges.
6. Die cut the sentiment from Birthday Stamp and Cut XL out of Adriatic Cardstock three times. Adhere together with Precision Glue XL.
7. Adhere foliage first, then flowers and flamingo. The flamingo and a few flowers are adhered with foam tape. Adhere the sentiment.
8. Adhere Clear Iridescent Jewels to the flower centers and a Black Onyx Droplet to the flamingo’s eye. Add white gel pen highlights throughout the panel. Place panel on an A2 card base.
