Spellbinders July Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month

Hello! The Spellbinders July Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month is a lovely set of stripes on a glimmer plate and striped die. I was searching my stash for a sentiment when I came upon these two butterflies I’d hot foiled a few months back. They were perfect for this card.

1. Hot foil the stripes from the July Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month with Moondust Hot Foil Roll. Cut at each edge with a paper trimmer.

2. Die cut the Large Outer Rim and Large Insert dies from Fluted Rectangles out of Neenah Solar White cardstockand place on an A2 card base. Die cut the Large Inner Rim from the same die set from another piece.

3. Adhere the foiled panel at an angle to the smaller panel. Cut off excess.

4. Hot foil sentiment from Just Wanted to Say Glimmer Plates with Aura Hot Foil Roll. Adhere to the panel with foam tape.

5. Hot foil butterflies from Glimmer Edge Butterflies with Moondust Hot Foil Roll, die cut and adhere to panel with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. I used them to hide imperfections in the foiling. The butterfly bodies were die cut from failed foiling attempts.

6. Add panel to card with foam tape. Adhere Teal Opalescent Color Essentials Sequins with liquid glue throughout card.
