Hello! Today I’m sharing my first Christmas project of 2022 made with the new Spellbinders Stitchmas Christmas Collection. Spellbinders has quite a few holiday collections in their July release and I’ll be sharing projects from all of them over the next month.
All products used will be linked below.
1. Die cut the outer rim and detailed ornament from the Stitched Ornament Die Set.
2. Stitch with embroidery floss. I love the Diamant Thread as well!
3. Die cut the solid ornament from white cardstock and adhere to stitched piece. I used Bearly Arts Precision Glue and placed a very heavy object on it until it dried.
Before adhering the back is a good time to do any stamping you might want to do.
4. Die cut the accent die from glitter cardstock and twice more for each side from white cardstock.
5. Adhere accent die cuts together and to ornament.
6. Adhere jewels with liquid glue.
7. Die cut ornament topper from silver cardstock twice and adhere to ornament top. Add floss or ribbon.
These ornaments could be used as tags on a special gift or a removable piece on the front of a card. They would also make great shaped cards. I also think they make a great gift on their own, especially when they are sturdy and adhered well. Head over to Spellbinders to check out the July release before things start selling out!
