Hello and welcome to day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Dream Big Blog Hop! I’m sharing a two for one card set today using a fabulous new cover plate die and Pawsitively Saturated Inks.

Simon Says Stamp is also giving away their Scripty Big Hugs die free with purchase. Use the code: BIGHUGS. This promotion will expire 7/24 at 11:59 pm EDT.

Read through to the end for giveaway details and links to the other designers in the hop. in addition, you should also check out day 1 of the blog hop.

The two cards I’m sharing today came from one panel I inked up and die cut. One card uses the positive die cut and the other uses the negative.

On a piece of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2” piece of white cardstock, blend on Pawsitively Saturated Inks. The inks I used are linked below. Next, line the Fab Floral Plate die up on the panel and run through die cutting machine. Keep the die cuts in the panel using the Very Very Low Tack Tape on the front of the panel.

1. With all the pieces still in the die cut and the tape still on the front, flip the panel over and attach 3D Foam Squares to each petal.

2. Place a piece of white cardstock in the corner of a Misti Stamping Tool, flip the die cut panel over and line it up over the white cardstock flush with the corner as well. Gently remove the outer die cut. cut the panel down with a paper trimmer to be flush with the edge petals.

3. Die cut the It’s Your Birthday die from Pitch Black cardstock three times and the shadow from vellum once. Adhere together with Bearly Art Precision Glue, placing on the velum as well. Add to panel with liquid glue.

4. Stamp the sub-sentiment from Clean Line Stacks with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle on White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Trim down with Sentiment Label dies. Attach to panel with foam strip.

5. Place panel on an A2 card base with foam tape and add Clear Iridescent Jewels with liquid glue.

1. Place the die cut panel directly on an A2 card base using foam strips on the edges and under thicker spots throughout. You could easily turn this in to a shaker card if you wanted to!

2. Stamp the sentiments from Clean Line Stacks on Pitch Black Cardstock with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle on White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Die cut with coordinating die and Sentiment Label dies.

3. Adhere sentiments with 3D Foam Squares. Place Clear Iridescent Jewels in flower centers with Bearly Art Precision Glue.
