Hello! I’ve got another card to share for the Stay Crafty It’s Hip to be Square challenge. This time my square element is the new Looking Glass Forest Mountain die set. I live in Colorado and see the beautiful mountains out my front door every day so these dies are perfect for my family!

1. Create the mini slimline tri-fold card by cutting a piece of white cardstock to 6 1/4” x 9 3/4, scoring every 3 1/4”. Cut a sliver off the part that folds inside to make it lay flat.

2. Line up the Looking Glass Forest Mountain die on front panel. I used the Slimline Alignment Tool Stencil to help. Run through die cutting machine unfolded.

3. For the inside panel, I found it easiest to line up the die with the front closed. Center the die, tape in place and die cut with card open.

4. Die cut all three Looking Glass Forest Mountain dies along with a square die two sizes bigger than looking glass dies and color with copic markers. Be sure to color the negative pieces for the mountain die cut as well. The colors I used are listed and linked below.

5. Cut a piece of Iris cardstock to 3” x 6” and die cut square from where it covers opening on card.

6. Stamp the Road Signs Bold Print on cardstock with Unicorn White Pigment Ink.

7. Adhere stamped panel first then the colored die cut using Precision Glue XL.

8. Adhere the next colored die cut to inside flap then adhere last die cut along with the cut pieces to the inside of card, lining it up with the first two openings.

9. Stamp the sentiments from Seaside Highway Heroscape with Grape Juice Core Ink. Cut out and adhere to panel with foam squares.

I probably should have stamped the sentiments with Passion Flower Core Ink as it would have matched the cardstock. I may change it.
