Hello! Spellbinders just released this great new die set called Camper Life. There is the set to create the camper plus a few other stamp and die sets that work well with this one. They also released the Winter Wonderland paper pad that I used on this cute shaped card.
1. Lay the camper die from Camper Life over a folded card base with a slight amount of the die hanging over the fold to create a card base. Run through Platinum 6 machine. You may need a shim depending on how thick your cardstock is.
Unfortunately this does mean the cuts for the door and window show up. It may be possible to do partial die cutting on each side to avoid the cuts. Otherwise, add rectangles to cover those areas and write a note on.
2. Die cut the pieces from the Camper Life from Winter Wonderland paper pad, Color Essentials Cardstock, Gold Mirror Cardstock, Glitter Foam and White Glitter Cardstock.
3. Adhere pieces together using Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Tweezers are very helpful when placing pieces and holding them together while they dry.
4. Add a second die cut of the pieces that hang off the camper from heavyweight white cardstock to make them sturdier.
5. Hot foil a sentiment from Christmas Magic Glimmer Plates with Aura Hot Foil Roll, cut to a strip and adhere to the camper with foam tape.
Instead of making this a card, it would make a great ornament or decoration. I encourage you to check out the entire new release from Spellbinders. It’s amazing plus they are offering $20 off $100! If there’s anything you’d like to see me use, please let me know in the comments.
Thanks for visiting and all of your support!
