Hello! How adorable is the Gnome for Christmas collection from Spellbinders? I loved creating these three cards! It was also great to be able to use the leftover glitter foam ornament to make a double interactive card.
1. Emboss a piece of white cardstock with the Argyle Socks Embossing Folder. Adhere to an A2 card base.
2. Die cut all of the pieces from Holly Jolly Gnome die set. I used Glitter Foam, Crimson cardstock, Pitch Black cardstock and Silver Mirror cardstock.
3. Color the nose with E00, E11, E13 copic markers. Add detail to the beard with W1, W3 W5 copic markers.
4. Assemble the die cuts using Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Add Glossy Accents to the nose.
5. Adhere to card and add white gel pen highlights.
1. Use the Twilight Sparkle Strip Glimmer Plate to emboss a piece of Crimson cardstock. It needs to be run through twice, once for each half. Run it through without the glimmer plate to even everything out.
2. Add Plum Core Ink to the edges of cardstock. Adhere to an A2 card base.
3. Die cut and assemble the bow from Holly Jolly Gnome die set out of White Glitter Foam. die cut the hanger from Silver Mirror Cardstock.
4. Die cut the circle back and the circle and words together three times. Cut off the words and adhere together.
5. Die cut a circle from acetate. Adhere the leftover white Glitter Foam die cut from the previous card to the acetate for the front of a shaker ornament.
6. Fill the shaker with red sequins and add the shaker front.
7. Add bow and shaker ornament to card.
8. Hot foil a sentiment from Christmas Magic Glimmer Plates with Matte Gold Hot Foil Roll. Cut into a strip and adhere to ornament hanger only.
1. Hot foil the Twilight Sparkle Strip Glimmer Plate on Indigo cardstock with Matte Gold Hot Foil Roll twice to fill front of panel. Adhere to an A2 card base.
2. Die cut the Gnome Tree dies from a rainbow of cardstock colors. I used scraps and only placed the scrap over the area I needed. This way I only need to die cut the piece twice. Die cut stars and lights from Glitter Foam.
3. Die cut the backer and outline from white cardstock. Adhere together. Adhere white cardstock gnome pieces to the pieces in step 2.
4. Color the nose with E00, E11, E13 copic markers. Add detail to the beard with W1, W3 W5 copic markers.
5. Adhere die cut pieces to the backer with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Add gnome tree to card with foam tape.
6. Apply Glossy Accents to noses and when dry add white gel pen highlights.
7. Adhere strings of lights to gnome tree and stars to the background.
8. Hot foil a sentiment from Christmas Magic Glimmer Plates with Matte Gold Hot Foil Roll. Cut into a strip and adhere with thin foam squares.
I can rarely resist the opportunity to make a rainbow card and rainbow gnomes are such fun! If I had die cut the gnome tree from large pieces of cardstock, I could have made multiple rainbow cards but it was great to use up scraps instead.
