Happy STAMPtember®! Are you ready for a month of exciting exclusive releases from Simon Says Stamp? I know I am! Today, I’m sharing two beautiful floral cards with you.
1. Die cut the floral dies included in the Pepperberry Bundles Embossing Folder and Cutting Die set out of white cardstock.
2. Emboss a piece of white cardstock as well as the die cuts from step 1.
3. Add Guava, Watermelon, and Cherry Pawsitively Saturated Inks to the panel with a blending brush. I made it darker in bottom right corner and lighter up to upper left. Adhere to an A2 card base.
4. Add Cherry, Field and Fairway Pawsitively Saturated Ink to embossed die cuts.
5. Die cut the A2 Marquee Wafer die three times from white cardstock, once from Barely Peach cardstock and once from Acetate.
6. Adhere two white die cuts together, then acetate, third die cut and finally, Barely There die cut with Bearly Arts Liquid Glue. Add to card.
7. Adhere flowers to acetate with a combination of foam squares and liquid glue.
8. Apply Glossy Accents to berries and set aside to dry.
9. Stamp the sentiment from the Black Eyed Susans stamp set with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle on White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut the sentiment with Sentiment Labels die and adhere to card with foam squares.
10. Add white gel pen highlights.
1. Stamp flowers from Black Eyed Susans stamp set on the edges of a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of white cardstock with Intense Black Ink.
2. Cut apart the sentiment and stamp it on the panel along with the butterflies on panel with Intense Black Ink.
3. Color images with copic markers. Create a shadow for the sentiment by adding N0 to the left and bottom of letters. Copic marker colors are listed and linked below.
4. Add a shadow of B000 and B0000 copic markers to left and bottom of flowers. Extend the color slightly with small dots of the same colors.
5. Add panel to an A2 card base. Use a white gel pen to add highlights and adhere sequins throughout card with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
The die cut pieces blended into the background of first card too much so I figured out a way too separate them without covering too much of the background. I stamped the flowers for the second card the typical way but I didn’t like it. Stamping them on the edge made the card more interesting.
I’ll be sharing more from Simon Says Stamp throughout the month. Tell me what you are ordering and what you’d like to see me use from the release.
