Hello! I’m sharing another card today for the Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero September Challenge. It’s a fairly simple wreath card using two die sets and only one stamp. Read on to learn how to enter your own projects in the challenge for a chance to win a gift card to Hero Arts.
1. Die cut the Fall Leaves Cover Plate die from white cardstock. Adhere to Woodland cardstock only where there are no leaves.
2. Die cut leaves at least three times from Foliage and Flowers die set and color with copic markers. Colors are linked below.
3. Die cut a circle using a Circle Infinity Die. Adhere the leaves around the circle to form a wreath.
4. Stamp sentiment from the Artichoke Arrangement stamp set with Espresso Core Ink.
5. Adhere wreath to die cut panel and panel to a card base. Then add Magic Gold Jewels with Precision Glue XL.
6. Fluff up the leaves in the wreath and lift the edges of the leaves on the background panel for added dimension.
I think puttink the Woodland cardstock behind the die cut background makes a subtle but huge difference. I considered adding the sentiment on Woodland cardstock but I think this works better. I’d love to hear what you think!
To enter your own projects in the September die cuts challenge, head to the challenge post of the Hero Arts blog. You’ll have the chance to win one of two $50 gift cards to the Hero Arts store.
