Hello! Waffle Flower kindly sent me a few products to play with from their recent release, including their new Rectangle Ink Pad Holder. I’m so excited to combine hot foiling with a coordinating layering stencil. This card was so easy to create and the oversized word die was the perfect addition.

1. Hot foil the Elongated Hex Foil Plate with Aura Hot Foil Roll on Hammermill cardstock.

2. Place the first Elongated Hex Stencil of the foiling and add Melon and Cantaloupe Pawsitively Saturated Ink, applying it lightly to the bottom and heavier towards the top.

3. Repeat step 2 with the second stencil.

4. Cut the panel down to 4” x 5 1/4” and add to an A2 card base.

5. Die cut the Oversized Happy Word Die twice from Pomegranate cardstock. Adhere together with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

6. Stamp “birthday” with Embossing and Watermark Ink on Pomegranate cardstock. Sprinkle on White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut in to a strip.

7. Add the die cut word to card with liquid glue and the strip to the card with foam strip.

8. Adhere Magic Gold Jewels with liquid glue.

I love the simple colors on this card but I’d love to try a rainbow background. Of course you could also use the foil plate and the stencils separate from each other for another fun look.

The Rectangle Ink Pad Holder fits two rectangle ink pads, has a low profile and is made from the same material as their stencil mat.
