Winter has come, direct from the North Pole! The October My Monthly Kit features a darling 6” x 8” stamp set with everything you need to build a magical scene, right down to Santa’s sleigh. The coordinating dies cut out everything in the stamp set, including the messages. There’s a cling background stamp for adding falling snow, and we’ve included two types of white ink to allow you to experiment with different techniques! The kit is rounded out with some gorgeous papers.

  • Clear Stamp Set, 6″ x 8″
  • 19 Coordinating Frame Cuts
  • Snow Dots Cling Stamp, 4.625″ x 5.875″
  • 2 Ink Cubes (White Reactive & Unicorn Pigment)
  • 2 Sheets of Diamond Glitter Paper, 5.5″ x 8.5″
  • 2 Sheets of Snow Glow Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″
  • 2 Sheets of Lapis Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″

1. Die cut circle from Masking Paper and adhere to an A2 panel.

2. Blend Thistle and Grape Slush Reactive Inks to 3/4 of panel. Add Blue Hawaii ink to the bottom of panel, blending the colors together.

3. Remove the mask and lightly add Thistle to make a moon.

4. Stamp the star trail from the October My Monthly Hero kit with Unicorn White Pigment Ink. It was very light after drying but still visible.

5. Stamp the sentiment, Santa’s sleigh and village image form the kit with Intens-ified Black Ink.

6. Adhere stars below Santa along the star trail. Add white gel pen around stars and on roofs and on the ground.

7. Add panel to an A2 card base.

1. Blend Blue Raspberry and Pool Party Reactive Inks on 3/4 of panel.

2. Using Sprinkled Dots Stencil, apply Grit Paste in Snowfall to panel. Set aside to dry. If you want it to look like sugar, Hero Glitter Paste would be great. If your going for a snow effect, try Hero Pearl Paste.

3. Die cut the pieces of the Gingerbread House Fancy Die from a variety of cardstock colors (all linked below) and adhere together. Some pieces were cut apart to add detail such as the snow and candies.

4. Once panel is dry, adhere house. I used thin foam squares with some Precision Glue to help it sick to the textured surface.

5. Stamp sentiment tree from Holiday Sentiment Strips stamp set on Cranberry cardstock with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle with White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Cut apart with the Sentiment Strips Fancy Die. Adhere sentiment with foam strips.

  2. Favorite card, purple skies and Santa’s flight…perfection!
I thought, at first, the gingerbread house was felt…that paper is gorgeous.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful art…

  3. Both of your cards are very pretty! I love the star trail streaking across the moon! And the gingerbread house is definitely going onto my wishlist. Thanks for sharing.

  4. I adore your color choices on both cards! I often think I have to use traditional red and green for Christmas, but your cards couldn’t be more festive! Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring!

  5. Lovin the embellishments on these. The reindeer magic and the glittering snow, and the icy looking snow falling over the gingerbread.
