Hello! Spellbinders is releasing some new products today. There are a Limited Edition Layered Stitched Diamonds Etched Die Set and stamps to coordinate with it. They are also releasing new glimmer plates, stamps and dies from Simon Hurley. They are fabulous! I’ll be sharing a card using these products today.
Spellbinders is also releasing Limited Edition Cutting Plates and Pre-order begins for the Spellbinders Advent Calendar. I’ll share more on that on Instagram and Facebook over the next three months!
1. Die cut the outline and stitched pattern insert dies from the Limited Edition Layered Stitched Diamonds Etched Die Set out of white cardstock and the long and short triangle pieces from Phone Booth cardstock.
2. On the white panel, alternate stitching each hole with 2 strands of red and light pink floss. I was going for a peppermint candy look.
3. Stitch the red die cuts with two strands of white floss.
4. Adhere the red stitched die cuts to the white stitched panel with thin foam squares.
5. Hot foil a sentiment from Joyful Christmas Sentiments on Phone Booth cardstock using Opaque White Hot Foil Roll. Place on stitched panel with thin foam squares.
6. Adhere to an A2 card base. I used Bearly Arts Precision Glue, placing it on the cardstock and the floss for a stronger hold.
This card was easy to stitch and assemble. I was going for a peppermint candy look. How did I do? Please tell me in the comments what you’d like to see me use fro the new release or any techniques you want me to share!
Thanks for visiting!
