Hello! The October Stay Crafty Challenge is Merry Everything and I’m here with a stenciled Christmas card today. Visit the challenge post on the Hero Arts blog to enter your own projects.

1. Place a piece of white cardstock and Holiday Pattern Stencil in the corner of the Waffle Flower Stencil Mat. Alternatively, tape the stencil to the white cardstock.

2. Beginning at the top, use a blending brush to softly add Taffy, Fruit Punch, Key Lime Fizz, Green Apple and Splash Reactive Inks. Cut panel to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”.

3. Die cut the large sentiment from Christmas Words Fancy Dies three times out of Charcoal Cardstock. Adhere together with Precision Glue XL.

4. Stamp the sub-sentiment from Holiday Sentiment Strips stamp set on Kiwi cardstock with Embossing and Watermark Ink. Add White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. Die cut with the Sentiment Strips Fancy Die.

5. Place the panel on an A2 card base. Add both sentiments and Iridescenct Jewels with liquid glue.

I think the Patel colors really worked well for this card. Charcoal cardstock was softer than black would have been. Don’t forget to enter your own projects. If you share them on Instagram, use the hashtag #staycraftychallenge so easily see them.
