Tis the season… for making holiday tags and decorations! Our November My Monthly Hero release is packed full of darling products you can use to create handmade ornaments, tags, cards and more! The kit includes a large set of 31 scene-building dies that can be combined in countless ways. There’s a message set featuring holiday essentials. The kit is rounded out with ribbon and sequins – the perfect finishing touches for your tags or ornaments!
- 3″ x 4″ Clear Stamp Set
- 31 Ornament-building Fancy Dies
- 6 Sheets of Acetate Panels
- 10 Sheets of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″
- Scarlet Satin Ribbon, 1/4″ wide, 3 yds.
- Snowflake Sequins
1. Die cut six tags from Pitch Black cardstock and white cardstock using the circle tag included in the November My Monthly Hero kit.
2. Die cut all of the pieces in the kit from a variety of Hero Arts cardstocks. What I used is listed and linked below. it helps to have little trays to organize die cuts in. I use these trays.
3. Stamp the black tags using Embossing and Watermark Ink. Sprinkle with White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set.
4. Once cooled, gently swipe a Unicorn White Pigment Ink across heat embossed tags from the edges toward the center.
5. Add die cuts to tags using Precision Glue XL. Use reverse tweezers to hold things in place while the glue dries.
6. Add Iridescent Jewels to flower and snowflake centers and white gel pen highlights to berries. You could use the Crystal Clear Lacquer Pen for dimension on the berries.
7. Stamp the to and from on the white tags using Cranberry Core Ink.
8. Adhere the white and black tags together. Run ribbon through hole and tie a knot.
