Hello! When I saw the Ornament Border Hot Foil Plate I immediately knew I wanted to make it a shaker card. The Kris Lauren Snow Globe Bear was perfect for it! I love the elegant front contrasted with the cute critters and sentiment.

1. Hot foil the Ornament Border Hot Foil Plate on Hammermill cardstock with Aura Hot Foil Roll.

2. Die cut a circle from the center of the hot foiled ornament using the Infinity Circle Dies.

3. Blend Salvaged Patina, Prize Ribbon and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Inks on a 4” x 5 1/4” piece to fit behind the opening in the foiled piece. Splatter with water and set aside to dry.

4. Stamp and color the images from Kris Lauren Snow Globe Bear set with copic markers. Colors are listed and linked below. Cut out with coordinating dies.

5. Adhere acetate behind the opening in the hot foiled panel and stamp the sentiment plus snowflakes with white StaZon Ink. Add foam tape around the opening making sure their are no gaps.

6. Adhere the images to the ink blended panel using the foiled piece as a guide. Place Mini Clay Snowflakes on inked panel and add foiled piece over.

7. Add to an A2 card base.

I had initially colored the Ornament Border front but thought it was too much. Simple is sometimes better!
