Hello! Simon Says Stamp has a new release out today called Hugs. I’ve created several cards from this release and I’m sharing one here today.

1. On a 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of white cardstock, use a t-square to lightly draw a line down the center of the cardstock, both horizontally and vertically. Next draw lines 2 1/8” in from each side horizontally and 2 3/4” in from each side vertically. There should be nine intersecting points.

2. Erase the the intersections but not all of the line. Line up a heart from the Layered Love Letters Stencil Set so it sits between the remaining lines. It should be approximately where the intersection would have been.

3. Apply Pawsitively Saturated Ink over stencil. Repeat for each intersection for a total of nine hearts. I used Bubblegum and Seafoam Inks.

4. Switch to the detail layer for the heart and apply Sweets and Surf Inks.

5. Stamp the sentiment from Love You Greetings stamp set using Altenew Obsidian Ink.

6. Stamp the small sentiments on a few hearts with embossing ink. Add Fine Detail White Embossing Powder and heat set.

7. Cut the panel down to 3 3/4 x 5”. This is a good time to make sure everything is even and straight.

8. Add the panel to and A2 card base with foam tape. Add clear hearts with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
