Spellbinders Anemone Blooms by Yana Smakula

Hello! Spellbinders and Yana Smakula have a new collection released today called Anemone Blooms. It’s filled with beautiful anemone dies and foil plates along with a fabulous script font, also available in dies and foil plates. Plus there are many great foil plate sentiments.

1. Foil the sentiment from Inside Card Glimmer Sentiments with Aura Hot Foil Roll at the bottom of a piece of Plum cardstock.

2. Place cardstock in Dimensional Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder with foiled portion hanging out the bottom. I taped my folder on each side to keep things from sliding.

3. Place the adapter plate higher than where the folder ends and run through machine. This results in a fading of the embossing rather than a line.

4. Hot foil the Anemone Glimmer Blooms with Aura Hot Foil Roll on Hammermill cardstock. Cut out with coordinating die.

5. Color the foiled image with copic markers. I used V09 and 100 to color the flower center then feathered V15 and V12 from center up the petals. Soften with the blender.

6. Adhere the foiled image above sentiment with foam squares.

7. Place Fashion Lilac Color Essential Pearl Dots across panel and add panel to an A2 card base.

1. Emboss a piece of Indigo cardstock with the Dimensional Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to an A2 card base.

2. Hot foil the Anemone Glimmer Blooms with Aura Hot Foil Roll twice on Hammermill cardstock. Hot foil the Hello, Friend Sentiments at the same time. Cut out with coordinating die and shadow dies from Wonderful Sentiments Cut extra word die cuts from Indigo cardstock and adhere together.

3. Color the foiled image with copic markers. I used B99 and 100 to color the flower center then feathered B95and B93 from center up the petals. Soften with the blender.

4. Place flowers hanging off corners with foam squares and cut off excess.

5. Add sentiment with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Adhere Blue Sapphire Jewels across card.

These two cards were very easy to create and assemble. If you are making both, save steps by working on like items at the same time. For example, foil all items at once.
