The Showered With Love collection from Spellbinders and Vicky Papaioannou is so adorable! In addition to what I’ve used today, there is also another style umbrella plus the most adorable ducky die. The die cut panel I used here along with the very versatile umbrella make creating these cards so easy.
1. Hot foil the sentiment from Inside Card Glimmer Sentiments on 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” white cardstock with Red Hot Foil Roll.
2. Die cut the heart Raining Hearts die from the foiled panel. Adhere to a piece of Phone Booth cardstock then to an A2 card base.
3. Cut the umbrella from Umbrella Blooms out of Phone Booth cardstock and the back from Crimson. The handle was cut from Onyx cardstock and Glossy Black cardstock.
4. Assemble umbrella and adhere to card with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
1. Die cut the raindrops die from the Raining Hearts die set out of white cardstock cut to 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”.
2. Using the panel as a guide, ink blend a rainbow on another piece of white cardstock cut to the same size. You can find the specific ink colors I used below. Adhere both pieces to an A2 card base.
3. Die cut the umbrella from Umbrella Blooms out of white cardstock and the handle from Onyx and Glossy Black cardstock. Use the same inks to color the stripes on the umbrella.
4. Assemble umbrella and adhere to card with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
5. Hot foil the sentiment from Mini Everyday Sentiments using Aura Hot Foil Roll. Cut to a strip and add to card with foam tape.
I chose not to add extra embellishments. I tried but it didn’t look right to me. You can add other papers like glitter or metallic cardstock behind the die cut. You could also use the raindrops instead of the panel or use both!
Thanks for visiting!
Adorable cards!
My favorite is the one with the hearts.
Thanks for the inspiration.
