Hero Arts truly outdid themselves with this months kits. I had so much fun using the inks and stencils. It has been many years since I’ve used rub ons but I was impressed with the quality of them.

My tutorials are very brief this month since I’m sharing six cards and there’s so much more info to give you. If you have any questions, leave them in the comments.

This Premium version of the kit that includes additional elements to extend the potential for more cards and techniques – even more Creativity In The Box! There are four sheets of beautiful butterfly Hero Transfers, a butterfly die set that can be used to cut out the rub-on images but also stands alone, and an exclusive Fuchsia & Gold Luster Duo Spray that will be sure to make you swoon!

Use the stencils only and the ink pad included in the February My Monthly Hero Classic Kit to create a rainbow design.

Die cut white cardstock using the Butterfly Window Fancy Die included in the February My Monthly Hero Classic Kit then use stencil and ink pad to color the die cut. That Mustard background brought the whole card together.

Die cut the Butterfly Window Fancy Die from white, Iris and Mustard cardstocks. Stencil the flowers only on the white panel. Use the stencil to create a tone on tone effect on the Iris and Mustard die cuts. Fussy cut these butterflies out (they are only attached in a few spots) and adhere over butterflies on white panel. Add glitter paper (or specialty paper included in the kit) behind white panel. Cut the window die from the card base front and place panel on card.

Stamp a white panel with the script stamp from the Background Texture Strips to fill entire piece using Lemon Drop Reactive Ink. Apply the rub on butterflies from the Premium kit to white card and cut out with coordinating dies. Mount them on a white panel and mat with Mustard cardstock. The sentiment is from the Monarch and Milkweed Stamp Set.

Die cut both dies for butterflies from the Premium kit. Add ink from the included ink pad to them. Back any holes with white glitter paper. Stamp the music background from the Background Texture Strips using Contour Ink. Add rub on stars.

Die cut the Butterflies Window Die from Mustard cardstock included in the kit. Place a rub on butterfly on white cardstock and cut out with coordinating dies. The sentiment is from the Monarch and Milkweed Stamp Set. I always use Precision Glue XL to adhere the center of the butterfly then add foam squares to the wings close to the body.

  4. wow what a wonderful collection of cards – love how you created so many styles and layout using this kit

  5. Lovely cards! I especially like the one with the die cut butterflies from the premium kit! The texture on them is really gorgeous!

  6. I love all of your gorgeous butterfly themed cards! It was interesting to me to see how you used the same supplies in different ways; I really liked all of the different options. It was fun to see the stenciled version of the design you posted that did not incorporate the cut-out part made with the die, although I also loved seeing the die-cut options, too. Lovely work!

  7. Sooo much goodness! What an incredible release…so many fun elements, its so difficult to choose. Altho, I am partial to monarchs. And I love the butterfly background stamp 💜💜💜

  8. Beautiful cards. My favorites are
the last two – the deep blue/purple
and the gold (that look like velvet)
is striking and the following with
the gold die cut is fantastic.
    thanks for sharing.

I think that window die is my new favorite thing. Beautiful cards. I truly believe that window die would be a wonderful gift for Valentine’s Day.😁
