It’s March 1st and that means there are new clubs available at Spellbinders! They are fabulous, as you would expect. Today I’m sharing cards using the March Large Die of the Month, March Small Die of the Month and March Stitching Die of the Month.
1. Die cut all the pieces for the March Large Die of the Month from various colors of cardstock. The sentiments were cut three times and adhered together. The color I used are listed below.
2. Adhere flowers and leaves to tree with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. I think the tree might have stood up better if I’d doubled the tree.
3. Assemble the base and adhere using 1/4” Double Sided adhesive Roll.
4. Adhere tree and sentiment using Bearly Arts Precision Glue so you can adjust placement easier.
5. Add Color Essentials Rose Pearl Dots and Color Essential Gems in Onyx to the flower centers.
1. Die cut all the pieces twice for the March Small Die of the Month from various cardstock colors. The colors are listed and linked below.
2. Adhere the background die cuts to an A2 card base with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
3. Adhere the butterflies only in the center with liquid glue. Add the flowers and body to butterfly. Place a small foam square under the wings to keep them up.
4. Die cut the sentiment three times and adhere together. Place in the center of the card. Die cut extra flowers and place around sentiment.
5. Add Color Essential Gems in Onyx to flower centers.
1. Die cut the background die for the March Stitching Die of the Month and adhere to an A2 card base.
2. Cut out the large stitching piece and the individual petals. The petal die will need to be cut twice.
3. Stitch every other hole on the large die cut then attach the petals by stitching them into the empty holes on the large die.
4. Adhere the stitched die cut to the card using thin foam squares.
5. Add Color Essential Bella Pearl Dots to center.
6. Hot foil the sentiment from the March Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month using Aura Hot Foil Roll.
