Spellbinders April New Collections

It’s release day at Spellbinders and they’ve got a fabulous group of products out today! I’m sharing cards made using Bibi’s Hummingbirds, Stylish Ovals and Seahorse Kisses. In addition, I’m using several new cardstock colors!

1. Emboss the Cast Away 3D Embossing Folder on a piece of 4 1/4” x 5 1/2” piece of Peach Sorbet cardstock. Adhere to an A2 card base with strong adhesive tape.

2. Hot foil the Seahorse Floral Glimmer Plate and the sentiment from the Seahorse Kisses Sentiments Glimmer Plates on Hammermill cardstock using Aura Hot Foil Roll.

3. Die cut sentiment with coordinating die and cut seahorse panel to 3 3/4” x 5”.

4. Color the image using copic markers listed and linked below.

5. Adhere panel to card with foam tape. Add sentiment with thin foam squares. Finish card with Fashion Blush Color Essential Pearl Dots.

1. Hot foil the Stylish Oval Floral Bird Glimmer Plate and the sentiment from Seahorse Floral Glimmer Plate on Hammermill cardstock using Aura Hot Foil Roll.

2. Use the Stylish Ovals Bird Layering Stencils and Pawsitively Saturated Inks to color the hot foiled image. The ink colors are listed and linked below. Adhere to an A2 card base.

3. Die cut the Infinity Punch and Pierce Plate from Fog cardstock, setting aside all but the outer frame.

4. Adhere the die cut frame to the hot foiled panel with adhesive foam strips. Add foam strips behind the overhanging part of the sentiment and Bearly Arts Precision Glue where it touches the frame.

5. Add an Onyx Jewel for the eye and Fashion Blush Color Essential Pearl Dots throughout.

1. Cut two pieces to form the 5 x 7 card base. First cut a piece to 5 1/2 x 7”. Score it at 1/2” and fold. Cut the next piece to 4 3/4 x 7”.

2. Die cut the Delicate Floral Hummingbirds inner die from the larger panel, making sure it doesn’t touch the fold. Add Bearly Arts Precision Glue to the folded part and adhere two pieces together.

3. Die cut the Delicate Floral Hummingbirds inner and outer die from Fern cardstock. Adhere to the card base.

4. Die cut the hummingbirds and florals from the Delicate Floral Hummingbirds set out of a variety of cardstock colors. Adhere the pieces to the card.

5. Stamp the sentiment from the Hummingbird Sentiments stamp set using Ocean Pawsitively Saturated Ink.

6. Add Onyx Jewels for the eyes and Fashion Blush Color Essential Pearl Dots for the flower centers. Add a bit of copic coloring for depth.

7. Cut a piece of Fog cardstock to 4 3/4 x 7 1/4”, score and fold at 1/2”. Adhere on the fold to the inside of the card. This creates a place for a message that will not be seen from the outside.
