Spellbinders April Clubs

Hello! I had family visiting earlier this month so I only just finished up some of the Spellbinders April Club cards. I focused on the Glimmer Hot Foil Kit club, the Small Die of the Month and Stitching Die of the Month.

1. Hot foil the April Glimmer Hot Foil kit of the Month on Hammermill cardstock cut to 4 x 5 1/4” using Aura Hot Foil Roll. Repeat for the other half of the panel.

2. Using the Leaf Panel Stencil coordinating add on, add a rainbow of colors with the first part of the stencil. Repeat for second half of panel. Use the other half of the stencil and a heavier hand to add the same inks. Inks are listed and linked below.

3. Hot foil the sentiment on Onyx Cardstock using Opaque White Hot Foil Roll.

4. Adhere panel to an A2 card base with foam tape then add the sentiment with foam strips.

Attach pieces with repositionable tape while working on placement.

1. Cut the scalloped edge pieces from the April Small Die of the Month from Fruit Punch and Lilac Blossom cardstocks.

2. Cut the edge strip from strips cut to approximately 3/4” out of Persimmon, Chamomile, Rainforest and Island Blue cardstocks.

3. Emboss a piece of white cardstock using the April Embossing Folder of the Month. Adhere to an A2 card base.

4. Arrange the strips in rainbow order on the card. Adhere with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

5. Die cut the sentiment from the April Large Die of the Month out of Brushed Black cardstock once and Onyx cardstock twice. Adhere together with liquid glue.

6. Adhere sentiment to card and add Onyx Gems for the dot on the “i” and throughout card.

1. Die cut the stitched pieces from the April Stitching Die of the Month from white cardstock. Stitch using a rainbow of 3 strands of variegated embroidery floss.

2. Die cut the center piece and sentiment from Brushed Black cardstock. Die cut the sentiment twice more from Onyx cardstock and the shadow from white cardstock.

3. Emboss a piece of white cardstock using the April Embossing Folder of the Month. Adhere to an A2 card base.

4. Adhere pieces together using liquid glue and attach to card with liquid glue plus thin foam squares under the center section.

I am in love with the rainbow glimmer card! I can’t believe how well that worked out. I think I should have stitched on the coordinating color for the stitched card but I do love all the rainbows I used on these cards.

The Spellbinders April Clubs close on the 27th. You’ll have to wait until May 6 for an opportunity to sign up for the May clubs. Thanks for visiting!
