Hello! I’m joining in the countdown to the release of the May My Monthly Hero kits. Be sure to read to the end for a giveaway and come back Monday for the May My Monthly Hero release!
1. Use the stencil and ink included in the kit to create a soft background that fades to the edges.
2. Die cut the bicycle first then use the stamps and inks from the kit to create the bike. The brown ink is Vintage Photo and the gray is Lost Shadow Distress Oxide Inks.
3. Stamp the remaining images from the kit and die cut with coordinating dies.
4. Add a small amount of detail to the stamped images with colored pencils. I added some lines to the basket, outlined some of the bicycle parts and added detail to the flowers. It’s subtle but I think it made a difference.
5. Stamp the sentiment in Vintage Photo Distress Oxide on the stenciled panel. Cut the panel to 4 x 5 1/4” and add to an A2 card base with foam tape.
6. Adhere the die cut images to the card using thin foam squares.
