Hello! Today I have three clean and simple monochromatic cards using glimmer plates from the new Glimmer Cardfront Sentiments Collection. As you can see, each glimmer plate fills most of an A2 card.
1. On a 4 x 5 1/4 pice of white cardstock, add ink from the center, getting lighter toward the edge. I used Soft Blossom, Orchid and Paradise Core Inks.
2. Tape the glimmer plate where you want it with a piece of 1 1/4” Best Craft Tape Ever as a hinge. Cut the foil as close to the panel edges as possible to avoid overfoiling.
3. Hot foil the glimmer plates on the inked panels with matching colors from the Satin Pastels Hot Foil Rolls Set. I used Pastel Lavender, Pastel Mint and Pastel Pink Satin Hot Foil.
4. Splatter the panels with White Iridescent Shimmer Spray and allow to dry.
5. Add the panels to an A2 card base with foam tape. Finish the card with sequins. I used Teal, Purple and Rose Sequins
You could use a larger panel and the die cut it with a rectangle die after foiling to make sure everything lines up correctly. You could also hot foil before inking up the background.
