If you’ve visited my blog before, you probably know I love dogs and dog cards so when I saw the new Stampendous Hugs Collection, I knew I had to use the dog stamp set and dies. I considered making just the tail wag but my chocolate lab’s entire body moves when she’s happy so I thought the wobbler was perfect.
1. Emboss a piece of Teal Topaz cardstock with the Puff Dotty 3D Embossing Folder. Splatter with white gouache and White Iridescent Shimmer Spray. Let dry.
2. Die cut the Puppy Hugs dies from Alabaster, Onyx, Pink Sand and Timber cardstock and assemble with Bearly Arts Precision Glue. Add Glossy Accents to the nose and allow to dry.
3. Die cut a heart from the Heart Dies from Pink Sand Cardstock. Stamp the sentiment from the Puppy Hugs Faces and Sentiments stamp set with Azalea Core Ink. Adhere to dog.
4. Add the panel to an A2 card base. Place dog on card using an Action Wobble Spring. The dog tipped towards the heart so I added to extra layers to the tail to even it out a bit.
5. Finish with white gel pen highlights and a few Teal Opalescent Sequins.
