Spellbinders July Clubs – Glimmer, Small Die and Stitching

Hello! I’ve got three more Spellbinders clubs to share with you today. I’m using the Small Die of the Month, Stitching Die of the Month and Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month.

1. Die cut all the pieces from the July Small Die of the Month from various colors of cardstock. I used Gold Mirror, Forest, Fruit Punch, Crimson and Wild Berry.

2. Add ink to die cuts in a shade slightly darker than the cardstock color. Then assemble pieces. I used Azalea and Forever Green

3. Using the negative from the greenery, adhere pieces to the tree.

4. Emboss a piece of Wild Berry cardstock using the July 3D Embossing Folder of the Month and ink the edges. Adhere to an A2 card base.

5. Adhere tree to card with thin foam squares. Add Glossy Accents to berries and let dry.

6. Die cut sentiment from Forest cardstock and adhere to card. I always use a shim with this type of die for a very clean cut.

1. Die cut the snowflake from the July Stitching Die of the Month from Glacier cardstock. As recommended by spellbinders, keep die cut in the leftover piece while stitching such a delicate die cut.

2. Stitch the die cut using three strands of white floss.

3. Die cut another snowflake from white cardstock and adhere it behind the stitched one.

4. Die cut the background from the July Stitching Die of the Month from Indigo cardstock and adhere to an A2 card base.

5. Adhere snowflake to card either by building up a few layers of the snowflake or adding adhesive foam strips.

6. Die cut the sentiment from the Tiny Merriment Die Set which coordinates with the July Stitching Die of the Month. Adhere to card.

7. Add iridescent jewels to the tips of the snowflake.

1. Hot foil the July Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month using Matte Gold Hot Foil Roll on Forest Cardstock . Die cut sentiments and the center of the foiled piece.

2. Emboss another piece of Forest cardstock with the July Embossing Folder of the Month. Adhere to an A2 card base.

3. Place hot foiled panel on card with foam tape.

4. Die cut the sentiment twice more and adhere to foiled ones. Add to center of card.

5. Add gold sequins across card.
