There’s a special Launch Party today for the Waffle Flower Grip Mat! I’ve been using my 8 1/2” square Grip Mat for about a month and I’m still loving it. It has become what I grab when I need to do ink blending. I’m looking forward to getting one that fits the Original Misti soon so I can try stamping on it.
Read to the end for a giveaway. You can find a reel for the bee card on my Instagram Page.
1. Die cut both party hats in the Layered Party Hats die set three times out of white cardstock. Lay out Grip Mat and place dies cuts.
2. Add a rainbow of ink colors to the hats. Assemble hats using Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
3. Cut a panel to 3 1/4 x 6 1/4” from white cardstock and add clouds using the Cloudy Stencil and Mist Core Ink.
4. Splatter both the hats and background with White Iridescent Shimmer Spray.
5. Adhere panel to a mini slimline card base with adhesive roll and add hats with thin foam squares.
6. Add pre printed Birthday Subsentiment and Clear Iridescent Jewels.
To help celebrate Waffle Flower‘s special launch of the Grip Mats, I’m giving away one 4.25 x 5.5 Grip Mat for my followers! If you reside outside of the US, you’ll receive a $20 gift certificate to waffleflower.com instead. The giveaway ends July 30, 2023.

I can’t wait to try out this new product! I am so looking forward to using it with stencils. I can’t imagine using a stencil without it moving around even with tape on it.
Love your fun cards with the adorable bees and the colorful party hats!
The Grip Mat looks great! I’d love to use it for coloring small die cuts and holding the pieces in place!
I have my grips mats on preorder. I am looking forwad to using with layering stencils, and also in my Misti to eliminate at least some of the use of the magnets. No more fingers pinched in between two magnets!
These look ideal for ink blending, especially for small die cuts that are hard to hold onto.
Love this card! I’m torn between using it directly in my MISTI, and using it to stencil on… or using it to blend ink onto small die cuts… so many uses…
Cute card. I love the party hats. This mat will be a game changer for ink blending on small (or large) die cuts.
