Simon Says Stamp Just a Note Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Just a Note Blog Hop and Giveaway! I created a 5 x 7 card for you today, which is pretty rare for me. You’ll find the list of designers in the hop at the end of the post. Get the stamp shown above when you place an order by 7/30. Use the code: ART.

Giveaway

Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop from the blog comment section. They’ll choose the winner and post on the Simon Says Stamp blog on Wednesday the 2nd of August.

1. Line the largest A7 Scalloped Rectangle Stencil centered on a 5 x 7 piece of white cardstock. Tape in place.

2. Place stencil and cardstock in a Misti Stamping Tool with mat removed. Lay Leaf Edges Cling Stamp in top right corner. Stamp with Seafoam Pawsitively Saturated Ink. Rotate and repeat for other corner.

3. With stencil still in place, blend on more Seafoam Ink, fading out as you move away from the corner.

4. Die cut the flowers from Sunrise Stem, Morning Blossom and Crocus Stems Die Sets and blend on Pawsitively Saturated Inks. Colors listed and linked below.

5. Cut panel down by 1/8” on each side. Assemble and adhere flowers using thin foam squares and Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

6. Splatter with White Iridescent Shimmer Spray and allow to dry.

7. Stamp sentiment from Plant Sentiments Stamp Set on Arctic cardstock with Ocean Pawsitively Saturated Ink and cut out with Sentiment Labels Dies.

8. Add panel to a 5 x 7 card base and add sentiment with thin foam squares. Finish card with Clear Drops.

I love the bright colors over the soft background. A 5 x 7 card was perfect for these flowers.
