I’ve got two more projects featuring the Stitched Christmas Collection from Spellbinders. That sweater die is gorgeous and I love the beautiful Poinsettia and Holly dies. Visit Spellbinders to check out this collection and more.
1. Emboss a piece of Glacier cardstock with Holly and Foliage 3D Embossing Folder.
2. Ink blend on cardstock with Marine, Cadette and Royal Pawsitively Saturated Inks, darkest in bottom right to lightest in top left.
3. Die cut the sweater from Stitch Christmas Sweater Die Set out of Glacier cardstock and the snowflake out of white glitter cardstock. Add a light amount of Marine Ink to edges of sweater.
4. Reverse hot foil the sentiment from A Merry Little Christmas Sentiment with Aura Hot Foil Roll. Cut out with coordinating die. Cut two extra from white cardstock and adhere together.
5. Adhere embossed panel to an A2 card base with strong Adhesive Roll then adhere sweater with thin foam squares. Adhere snowflake to sweater with Bearly Arts Precision Glue then sentiment on top.
6. Finish card with a few Fashion Oyster Color Essential Pearl Dots.
1. Die cut the Stitched Starry Argyle Die from Cranberry cardstock. Add Cranberry Ink around edges and adhere to another piece of Cranberry cardstock then to an A2 card base.
2. Die cut the three petal stitched layer and three petal base from Stitched Poinsettia and Holly die set out of Cranberry Cardstock, the medium and large holly outline along with the holly stitch insert out of Fern cardstock. Stitch with coordinating floss.
3. Reverse hot foil the sentiment from A Merry Little Christmas Sentiment with Aura Hot Foil Roll. Cut out with coordinating die.
4. Assemble and adhere poinsettia to card with with liquid glue in the center and thin foam squares to the outer part. Add leaves with liquid glue. Add sentiment with thin foam squares
5. Add a Fashion Rouge Color Essential Pearl Dot to the flower center and a few gold sequins throughout.
I haven’t decided if I’m going to cut off the overhanging part of the sweater or just use a larger envelope. What would you do?
Thanks for visiting!
Oh, I’d leave the sweater as it it! The larger envelope to hold it is my choice. Both cards are beautiful, the colors vibrant. TFSharing these.
Thank you! I’m leaning towards leaving it.
