Spellbinders has a beautiful new collection called Sealed for Christmas. It features several wax seals, embossing folders and dies.
1. Create the wax seal using the All Is Calm Wax Seal Stamp, Teal Wax Beads and the Spellbinders Wax Seal Kit. Add DecoColor Silver Metallic Marker over the cooled seal.
2. Die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Notched Corner Dies. One need to be about the same size as the notched corner decoration in the Notched Corner Florals 3D Embossing Folder. The other should be slightly larger than the wax seal.
3. Add low tack tape to the back of the die cut pieces to hold them together. Line them up in the Notched Corner Florals 3D Embossing Folder and run through Platinum 6.
4. Leaving the pieces together, add Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink from edges fading to center. Add Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Ink just to the edges.
5. Put a thicker foam adhesive to the outer layer, thin adhesive to the second section and adhesive tape to the center piece. Add pieces to an A2 card base. You can place a very low tack tape to front to hold them together but be very careful peeling it off.
6. Adhere wax seal to center of card. Finish with Topaz Pearls in flower centers.
I couldn’t be happier with how this card turned out! Head over to Spellbinders to see the entire Sealed for Christmas Collection. Thanks for visiting!
