Today I’m using the October Stitching Die of the Month and October Embossing Folder of the Month from Spellbinders. The embossing folder reminded me of tin ceiling tiles and I imagined shiny red ornaments hanging down.
1. Cut the October Stitching Die of the Month from Indigo, Pomegranate and gold glitter Cardstock. The last two can be scraps since you only need the ornaments. Cut the tree from Pine cardstock and the sentiment plus toppers from gold mirror cardstock.
2. Stitch the elements from gold metallic thread.
3. Attach the Indigo panel to another Indigo panel and then to an A2 card base.
4. Adhere the stitched pieces to the card with thin foam squares and the rest flat or inlaid with Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
1. Emboss Silver Mirror Cardstock using the October Embossing Folder of the Month.
2. Die cut ornaments from the Stitching Die of the Month from Red Mirror Cardstock and the sentiment and toppers from Indigo Cardstock.
3. Adhere all ornaments with thin foam squares.
4. Before adding toppers place a small foam square just above the ornament add silver metallic floss. Wrap it over top of the panel and adhere with adhesive tape to back. Add ornaments.
5. Add sentiment with thin foam squares. I’m not sure I like it popped up with out being backed by another piece of cardstock but I decided to leave it.
Head over to Spellbinders to check out all the October clubs before subscriptions close on the 28th. Thanks for visiting!
