The January 2024 Stitching Die of the Month from Spellbinders is one of my favorites! It’s a beautiful bee with wings you can stitch in beautiful intricate patterns if you follow the lines on the die cut. In addition to the stitching dies there are some beautiful flower and vine dies.
1. Die cut bee parts from the January Stitching Die of the Month using Onyx, Beeswax, Glacier and Brushed Black Cardstocks.
2. Stitch the bee’s body with black metallic thread and the wings with white metallic thread.
3. Die cut the vines and flowers from Meadow and Beeswax cardstock. Blend on Pumpkin Core Ink.
4. Emboss a white cardstock panel with the January 3D Embossing Folder of the Month and adhere to an A2 card base.
5. Adhere the bee’s body together with Bearly Arts Liquid Glue and add to card with thin foam squares. Add the wings with liquid glue along with the vines.
6. Create the sentiment using the January 2024 Stencil of the Month a, Glacier Cardstock and Pitch Black Core Ink. Cut into a strip and adhere with thin foam squares.
