The new Monster Birthday Collection might be the cutest collection Spellbinders has ever had! I saw this dragon and I knew I needed to have it! And how cute are those glasses?
1. Die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Make A Wish Arch Labels Die. Die cut the same thing from a folded card panel with the top of the arch hanging over the fold.
2. Emboss the panel with the Floating Balloons 3D Embossing Folder, leaving the bottom outside the folder. Blend on Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide
3. Die cut the pieces from the Dancin’ Birthday Dragon Die Set and glasses from the Smart Glasses Die Set. Cardstock I used are listed and linked below.
4. Color the white cardstock using Salvaged Patina and Villainous Potion Distress Oxide Inks.
5. Assemble dragon using Bearly Arts Precision Glue. if you want it to dance do not adhere head to body.
6. Add Glossy Accents to glasses and White Blizzard Nuvo Drops to wings and tail.
7. Stamp sentiment from Monster Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set using the inks mentioned above. Cut out using Sentiment Labels Die Set.
8. Place Round Foam Adhesive and place body then add head using adhesive only in places where it won’t interfere with the movement.
9. Add sentiment with thin foam squares and teal enamel dots at each end.
1. Die cut the tag from Make A Wish Arch Labels Die Set out of white cardstock. Blend on Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Ink.
2. Die cut the pieces from Dancin’ Birthday Dragon Die Set. Cardstock I used are listed and linked below.
3. Color the white cardstock pieces using Twisted Citron and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks.
4. Assemble dragon using Bearly Arts Precision Glue. This dragon does not move so head and body can be attached.
5. Add White Blizzard Nuvo Drops to wings and tail.
6. Stamp sentiment from Monster Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set using Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink. Cut out using Sentiment Labels Die Set.
7. Adhere dragon to tag with thin foam squares. Run ribbon through both tags and tie off.
1. Die cut the Smart Glasses Dies from a rainbow of cardstocks.
2. Adhere glasses to a piece of white cardstock with Bearly Arts Precision Glue on the diagonal. I found adhering them at an angle looked better than trying to line up in straight rows.
3. Cut panel to 4 x 5 1/4” and adhere to an A2 card base.
4. Die cut the tag from Make A Wish Arch Labels Die Set out of Onyx cardstock. Emboss sentiment from Monster Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set with White Detail Embossing Powder.
5. Add Black Cord to tag then place tag on card with thin foam squares.
6. Finish card with a white heart embellishment and black enamel dots.
