Spellbinders Window With A View Collection

The Window with a View Collection is new from Spellbinders and Tina Smith. It includes a large window die plus different small dies to create cute window scenes. There’s also another window style, a stencil and sentiment stamps.

Before creating each scene, I laid out the dies the way I wanted them to be them took a picture for future reference.

1. Die cut pieces from Up in the Air, Backyard Haven, The Botanical Solarium and the Vista View Window die sets from various colors of cardstock. If making all three card, you’ll need to cut some things more than once.

2. Add shading to each die cut with the appropriate ink colors. Set aside. I used a muffin pan to keep everything organized.

3. Create background by adding slightly darker ink to a piece of colored cardstock.

When I get a sentiment set, I like to create all the sentiments then store them for later use.

4. Assemble then adhere pieces to background using Bearly Arts Precision Glue.

5. Before adhering window, splatter background with White Iridescent Shimmer Spray.

6. Adhere window frame then anything that goes in front of the window using a combination of liquid glue and thin foam squares.

7. Create BetterPress sentiments from Always and Forever Sentiment Strips Press Plate and Die Set and You Are Everything Sentiments Press Plate and Die Set using BetterPress Black Ink on Porcelain BetterPress cardstock. Add to window panel.

8. Emboss a piece of white cardstock with a 3D Embossing Folder. I used the Bee-Cause 3D Embossing Folder and Flowers and Foliage 3D Embossing Folder. Add to an A2 card base.

9. Add Clear Sparkle Lacquer Pen to flower centers and bits throughout such as clouds, leaves, moon, balloons.
