The March Small Die of the Month from Spellbinders is an adorable owl with accessories like a scarf, book and envelope. I paired it up with the Stencil of the Month and the Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month.
1. On a white piece of cardstock, use one of the March Stencil of the Month and Twilight, Morning and Galaxy inks to create a background lighter at the top.
2. Remove stencil and gently blend the same colors over panel. I didn’t even reink my brush. Splatter with White Iridescent Shimmer Mist.
3. Die cut pieces from the March Small Die of the Month out of white cardstock.
4. Color the die cut pieces using Latte, Cappuccino, Mocha, Charcoal, Grapefruit, Heather, Violet, Iris, Morning Twilight and Galaxy Pawsitively Saturated Inks. Inks are linked below.
5. Assemble the die cuts with Bearly Arts Precision Glue and adhere to inked panel with thin foam squares.
6. Hot foil a sentiment from the March Glimmer Hot Foil of the Month using Silver Hot Foil Roll. Cut into a strip and add to panel with thin foam squares.
7. Adhere panel to an A2 card base. Add highlights with a white gel pen.
