Spellbinders April Stitching Die of the Month

What a fun theme Spellbinders has for their April Clubs! I do a bit of cross stitching myself and could definitely use these products when gifting a project. The Stitching Die of the Month is probably my favorite, with the Large Die of the Month coming in second.

1. Emboss a piece of Teal Topaz cardstock using the April 3D Embossing Folder of the Month. Blend on Aquatic Core Ink from the edges fading to the inside. Add to an A2 card base.

2. Die cut the stitched flowers and leaves from the April Stitching Die of the Month from Wild Berry, Pink Sand, Meadow and Plum Cardstock.

3. Add Azalea Core Ink lightly to flower centers and Pine Core Ink to leaves. Stitch using gold metallic thread.

4. Die cut remaining pieces from the April Stitching Die of the Month using Brushed Black, Dune and Antique Ivory.

5. Emboss the solid oval with the April Embossing Folder of the Month then add a soft layer of Sand Core Ink to just the edges.

6. Add Espresso Core Ink to frame die cut then adhere to piece from step 5.

7. Die cut the sentiment from the April Small Die of the Month out of Wild Berry Cardstock.

8. Assemble and adhere pieces to the card base with thin foam squares and liquid glue.
