Spellbinders Fair Winds Collection by Dawn Woleslagle

The Fair Winds Collection by Dawn Woleslagle for Spellbinders is a lovely nautical themed collection. It features a layering stencil three die sets and a stamp set. I used the stencils on all three cards and achieved different effects.

The background was created with the Uncharted Waters Stencil and Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean, Hickory Smoke and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide Inks. The die cuts are from the Guiding Light Die Set and Set Sail Die Set then colored with OLO Markers.

I added a sentiment from You Are Everything then finished it off with Sparkle Lacquer and a few tiny hearts.

I created a smaller scene on a panel cut from the Scallop Labels and tag die. The Uncharted Waters Stencil was used only for the horizon line and rock. The die cuts are from Oh, Buoy! They are colored with OLO Markers.

To create the dock I cut a piece of cardstock from the Always and Forever Sentiments Stamp Set. The scene was added to a panel embossed with the Cast Away 3D Embossing Folder. I finished the card with Sparkle Lacquer on the life preserver and added a few tiny hearts.

This background was created with the Uncharted Waters Stencil. I used Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink for the water, Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Ink for the sky, Lost Shadow, Hickory Smoke and Black Soot Distress Oxides for the clouds and rocks. The background was splattered with water and White Splatter Paint.

The images are from the Set Sail Die Set and are colored with OLO Markers. I added a sentiment from Curved Everyday Sentiments, hot foiled with Aura Hot Foil Roll. I finished the card with Sparkle Lacquer added to the waves and clouds and a tiny heart.
