I thought the Hero Studio July Card Kit of the Month would pair perfectly with the seaside scene from the June Fancy Dies of the Month. I love how well they worked together. Imagine a seaside cottage with this view!
1. Stamp the sky from the Hero Studio July Card Kit of the Month with Dusty Blue Core Ink.
2. Stamp the water with the same Dusty Blue Core Ink. To make it darker than the clouds, stamp the image several times.
3. Lightly blend on Dusty Blue Core Ink over clouds. Blend Sand Core Ink around the water.
4. Stamp the lighthouse and kids using Onyx Pigment Ink. Let dry.
5. Die cut the window and book from The June Fancy Dies of the Month from white cardstock. Color with OLO Markers.
6. Stamp the starfish from the Nautical Messages Bundle and sentiment from Tropical Fishes Bundle using Intens-ified Black Ink. Cut out with coordinating dies. Color fish with OLO Markers. Cut blanks for sentiment and adhere together.
7. Stamp Script Bold Prints over background using Contour Ink. Restamp until as dark as you want it to be.
8. Adhere window to background, then books, starfish and sentiment. Adhere to an A2 card base.

Fantastic card! I feel like I am right there in that setting! Too bad for me… when I look out for real, it’s 98 and very, very humid! Yech!
