Hello! I’m excited to be a part of the Favorite Spellbinders Club Add-On blog hop and giveaway! You should have arrived here from Allison Frazier’s blog. I chose to use an add-on I never got the chance to use during the release month. I had so much fun with the Fairy Tales March 2024 Bonus Item making a dreamy magical storybook card.
Now you can purchase it separately along with the other add-ons from January through May 2024 for club members only! Read to the end for giveaway information.
1. Die cut the pieces from the Fairy Tails March 2024 Bonus Item and the books from the Classic Tales Large Die of the Month out of Bermuda, Paradise, Nautical, Antique Ivory and Arctic Cardstock. Cut the flags from Silver Glitter Cardstock.
2. Add shading to the die cuts. I used Bermuda, Paradise, Nautical, Arctic and Sand Core Inks.
3. Assemble die cuts. While trying to decide what colors to use I cut some layers from two colors of cardstock. I liked the dimension added by doubling up some layers.
4. Blend Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Ink on a piece of white cardstock from the bottom to about halfway then from the edges in for the top creating a glowing effect.
5. Repeat step 4 with Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide Ink but don’t go up as far.
6. Splatter panel with water then spray on Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner Distress Spritz. Add a small amount of both to die cuts as well.
7. Spray a scrap piece of white cardstock with Peacock Feathers and Uncharted Mariner Distress Spritz. When dry, cut out stars.
8. Hot foil sentiment from Sketched Lines Glimmer of the Month with Moondust Hot Foil Roll on Bermuda cardstock. Cut out with coordinating die.
9. Adhere panel to an A2 card base then adhere die cuts to card.
