Hero Arts October 2024 Hero Studio Blog Hop and Giveaway

I’m thrilled to be part of the Hero Arts OctoberHero Studio Release Blog Hop and Giveaway! The October release from Hero Arts is one of my favorites every year and it does not disappoint. Read to the end for the giveaway information plus a SUPER EXCITING SALE! You’ll also find the list of designers there.

KIT INCLUDES:
• Clear Stamp Set, 6″ x 8″
• 16 Coordinating Dies
• Hole Punch Die
• Tree Window Die
• Holiday Treats Words Cling Stamp, 6″ x 6″
• Washi Sticker Pack, 22 pieces
• Embossing & Watermark Ink Cube
• 5 Sheets Each of Kraft, White & Red Cardstock, 5.5″ x 8.5″
• Gold Embossing Powder, 0.5 oz
• White Embossing Powder, 0.5 oz
• Peppermint Clay Embellishments

1. Stamp the tree image from the October Card Kit of the Month on Sand Cardstock. Color with alcohol markers. Cut out with outer die and tree outline die. Snip off outline above snow layer.

2. Cut two extra layers and adhere behind colored tree. adhere together.

3. Cut one solid outline layer and adhere all pieces to it.

4. Trim Cherry Cardstock to slightly larger than image layer and adhere behind.

5. Die cut the Scalloped Rectangle Infiity Die slightly larger than matted image. reposition die and cut again to create a die cut that’s proportional to the image. Adhere together.

6. Stamp cling stamp from kit with Sand Core Ink on Sand Cardstock. Cut to 4 x 5 1/4”

7. Cut a panel of Cherry Cardstock to A2 size and adhere all pieces. Adhere to A2 card base.

8. Stamp sentiment and emboss with White Detail Embossing Powder. Cut out with coordinating die. Add to card.

9. Add Sparkle Lacquer Pen to stars and tree. Add white gel pen to dots in background.

1. Cut the pieces from the Peeking Gingerbread die set and October Fancy Dies of the Month from Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock. Cover the edges of the fancy Die to keep a nice white border.

2. Color the images with Core Ink and blending brushes. I used Forever Green, Espresso, Cherry, Caramel and Cup o’ Joe Core Inks.

3. Stamp the October Cling of the Month on Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock with Cherry Core Ink. Softly blend over inking with Cherry and Cranberry Core Inks.

4. Stamp the Fa La La Bold Print over the inked panel with Unicorn White Pigment Ink.

5. Adhere October Fancy Dies to the inked panel, leaving some branches loose. Splatter with White Acrylic Spray.

6. Assemble and hang candy cane from a branch then add Peeking Gingerbread die cut. Tuck candies around card.

7. Add Sparkle Lacquer Pen to all candies and White Hero Pearls to icing sections of gingerbread. Finish with black enamel dots for eyes and white enamel dots for buttons.

8. Stamp sentiment from October Clear Set and Dies of the Month with Cherry Core Ink. Cut out with coordinating dies then cut twice more. Adhere together then to card.

  1. Such wonderful cards! Love that you stamped and colored on sand cardstock. And all those layered colors. The second card is perfect! I just love “Ginger” hanging from the greens. Very clever
