Spellbinders December 2024 BetterPress and Stencils of the Month

The December BetterPress and Stencils of the Month clubs from Spellbinders are so beautiful. I love the design in the press plate. The stencils create a wonderful design when combined but can be used in many different ways. I’ll share two more ways to use the stencils soon.

1. Blend Carnation Pawsitively Saturated Ink over first stencil from the December Stencils of the Month on white cardstock.

2. Repeat for next three stencils using Rose, Cantaloupe and Sherbet Pawsitively Saturated Inks.

3. Hot foil sentiment from the December Glimmer of the Month using Satin Gold Hot Foil Roll. Cut out with coordinating die.

4. Cut panel to 4 x 5 1/4” then adhere to an A2 card base.

5. Add sentiment with thin foam squares. Finish card with the smallest Aura AB Color Essentials Gems at each point of diamonds.

I think the rainbow would look better if I made the colors follow the swirl.

1. Place December BetterPress of the Month on magnetic platform and ink up with a rainbow of BetterPress Inks. Run through Platinum 6 along with Porcelain BetterPress A2 Cotton Card.

2. Place sentiment on platen before removing first press plate for correct positioning. Ink with Black BetterPress Ink and run through.

Centering the sentiment may look better.

3. Cut panel to 4 x 5 1/4” and adhere to an A2 card base.

4. Finish card with Onyx Color Essentials Gems on various small circles throughout and around sentiment.
