Spellbinders January 2025 Large and Small Dies of the Month

I’m back again today sharing two more cards made using the Ombré Paper Pad from Scrapbook.com. This time I’m die cutting the paper with the Large and Small Dies of the Month Clubs from Spellbinders.

The paper is a perfect weight for die cutting. It’s not too thick but also plenty sturdy. The papers coordinate beautifully taking some of the guesswork out of color choices.

The Large Die of the Month makes a great shaped card. I die cut the outline die from a top fold A2 card base created with Neenah Solar White Cardstock.

I die cut a second outline from one of the ombré papers and adhered it to the card base. The frame with cut from Brushed black cardstock.

I die cut and assembled the floral pieces, adhered them to the card, placed the frame then finished things off with a sentiment from the January Glimmer of the Month.

My next card using the January Small Die of the Month was created in much the same way. First I created a background with a piece of ombré paper embossed with the Embossing Folder of the Month.

I assembled the dragonfly then adhered it to the background using thin foam squares. The sentiment is from the BetterPress of the Month, hot foiled using Moondust Hot Foil Roll.

I’ve really enjoyed using the Ombré Paper Pad for these two cards plus the cards from my previous post. Though, my preference is to color the dies myself or use my favorite Hero Arts Cardstock, the ombré paper has really helped me get several cards done my faster than normal.

Head to Spellbinders to see all the January Clubs. Thanks for visiting!
