I love the damask pattern on the February BetterPress of the Month press plate from Spellbinders. They’ve included a registration template to make it easy to line up the plate to cover the entire card.
1. Secure the registration template to the BetterPress platform with Best Ever Craft Tape then line up press plate from the February BetterPress of the Month to template.
2. Ink half with Cruise BetterPress Ink then Teal Topaz BetterPress Ink and Spruce BetterPress Ink. To soften where the inks change, I used a swiping motion. Run through Platinum 6 with Bisque BetterPress A2 card panel.
3. Move plate to next markings. Ink top with Spruce BetterPress Ink then Cruise BetterPress Ink and Teal Topaz BetterPress Ink. Run through Platinum 6.
4. Move plate and ink with Teal Topaz and Spruce BetterPress Inks. Run through Platinum 6. Cut panel to 4 x 5 1/4” and adhere to an A2 card base.
5. Impress sentiments from the February BetterPress of the Month using Spruce BetterPress Ink on Bisque A2 BetterPress Card panel. Repeat with Black BetterPress Ink. Cut out with coordinating dies. Cut two extras for the sentiment you plan to use and adhere together.
6. Adhere sentiment and add Teal Color Essentials Gems to design.
