Hero Arts released three new collections for February. The fun colorful card I’m sharing today is from the Charming Easter Collection. I had so much fun making this rainbow egg shaped card but I wasn’t sure how to finish it for a while.
1. Die cut the largest Egg Infinity Nesting Die from Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock twice. Set one aside for later.
2. Mask off each section of the Asana Pattern Stencil with low tack tape and add Reactive Glitz Inks. I think you might get less bleeding under stencil if you use pouncers instead of blending brushes.
3. Die cut sentiment from Happy Easter Stamp and Cut XL out of Gold Glitter Cardstock.
4. Stamp sentiments from Happy Easter Stamp and Cut XL on Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock with Intens-ified Black Ink and cut into strips.
5. Score second egg 1/4” from top and fold. Cut a sliver off bottom to help card stand. Adhere stenciled egg above 1/4” marker only.
6. Add Gold Smooth Disc Color Essentials Sequins before sentiments because some will fall underneath but still show.
7. Adhere sentiments with foam strips.
I adhered the sentiments intentionally slanted a bit because the stenciling is not straight and it was never going to line up right anyway.
