Welcome to the Hero Arts March 2025 Hero Studio Blog Hop and Giveaway! This month is all about bows! If you subscribe to the Whole Studio you’ll receive a bonus die! Read until the end for giveaway information.
1. Using a the Thin Stripes Stencil from the March Card Kit of the Month and Peony Core Ink, apply ink with a pouncer to Bellini Cardstock. The pouncer provided much cleaner lines than a blending brush.
2. Die cut the Ribbons Cover Plate Die from the March Card Kit of the Month out of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock three times. Adhere together with Precision Glue XL.
3. Die cut the ribbon from Tutu Cardstock. Add Azalea Core Ink for shading. Adhere together.
4. Emboss sentiment from March Card Kit of the Month with White Detail Embossing Powder on Bellini Cardstock. Cut out with coordinating die and cut twice more. Adhere together.
5. Emboss the rest of the sentiment on the striped panel with White Detail Embossing Powder. Test to make sure the ink is dry and powder doesn’t stick where it’s not supposed to.
6. Adhere striped panel to an A2 card base the adhere die cut background. Add die cut sentiment.
7. Adhere ribbon die cut and add white gel pan highlights.
1. Stamp a panel of Deluxe Smooth White Cardstock with the March Cling Stamp of the Month using Contour Ink. Adhere to an A2 card base.
2. Die cut the pieces from the March Fancy Dies of the Month out of Bellini, Tutu, Dahlia, Wildberry, Beeswax, Mint, Cascade, Orchid, Acorn and Brushed Gold Cardstocks.
3. Stamp the floral bouquet from the March Clear Set and Dies of the Month using Peony Core Ink.
4. Add shading to die cuts with various Core Inks linked below.
5. Assemble die cuts with Precision Glue XL and adhere to card with thin foam squares.
6. Emboss sentiment from March Clear Set and Dies of the Month on Bellini Cardstock with White Detail Embossing Powder. Cut out with coordinating die plus twice more.
7. Lightly blend Peony Core Ink from bottom fading out. Adhere die cuts together and add to card.
8. Add Sparkle Lacquer Pen to flower centers and finish with white gel pen highlights.
