The Spring Felt Stitch and Create by Nichol Spohr from Spellbinders is now available. They are intended to be used with felt but I didn’t like any of the colors I had. While I await my felt order, I’m sharing a card where the die cut the pieces are cut from new ColorWheel Cardstock.
1. Emboss a piece of Pesto Cardstock with the Cross My Heart 3D Embossing Folder. Blend on Moss and Forever Green Core Ink from edges.
2. Die cut the pieces of the Felt Cozy Cluck die set out of the following ColorWheel Cardstock: Alabaster, Coral, Tutu, Dahlia and Wild Berry. Die cut flowers from Scallop Jornal Cards die set from the same colors.
3. Lightly ink die cuts with Sand, Azalea, Papaya and Cranberry Core Inks. Stitch pieces using coordinating embroidery floss colors. Assemble using strong liquid glue.
4. Add embossed panel to an A2 card base and adhere assembled die cut.
5. Use the Holding Your Heart Sentiments Press Plates and Dies, along with Black BetterPress Ink and Porcelain A2 BetterPress Cotton Card Panel, create sentiments. Cut out with coordinating dies.
6. Run edge of sentiment through Forever Green Core Ink. Add to card.
7. Adhere flowers and finish with Berry Color Essentials Gems.
