Hero Arts May 2025 Hero Studio Blog Hop and Giveaway

Welcome to the Hero Arts May 2025 Hero Studio Blog Hop and Giveaway! You’ve probably arrived here from Jeannie’s blog. I’ve used the layering stencils and die from the May Card Kit of the Month to create three cards that are a variation of the first. Then I continued using layering stencils but this time it was from the May Layering Stencils of the Month. Read to the bottom for giveaway information!

1. Stencil the flowers from the May Card Kit of the Month using a variety of Core inks linked below.

2. Stamp the vase and sentiment on Dahlia ColorWheel Cardstock. Cut out with coordinating dies. Cut sentiment twice more and adhere together.

3. Stamp the bees with Intens-ified Black Ink and cut out with coordinating dies.

4. Stamp the May Cling of the Month with Cotton Candy Core Ink on white cardstock. Adhere to an A2 card base.

5. Adhere flowers and vase to card with thin foam squares. Avoid adding dimensional adhesive where the two overlap.

6. Add sentiment and bees to card. I colored the white outline that lays over the vase with an OLO Marker.

This card is the same as above created on Sand Cardstock. the sentiment is stamped with Azalea Core Ink I also blended over stamped jar with Azalea Core Ink.

The background is stamped with Forever Green Core Ink on Palm Cardstock. The flowers and bees were created on Beeswax ColorWheel Cardstock.

1. On an A2 panel, stencil the flowers with Peony and Azalea Core Inks for the first layer of the May Layering Stencils of the Month.

2. Use Raspberry Jam Core Ink for the second layer, Mist and Paradise Core Inks for the third layer and Bermuda for the fourth layer.

3. Stamp the panel with the May Cling Stamp of the Month using Contour Ink.

4. Cut the panel to 4 x 5 1/4” and add Pink Hero Hues Enamel Dots to the flower centers.

5. Stamp the sentiment from the May Stamp and Cut of the Month using Bermuda Core Ink and cut into strips.
